This Privacy Policy explains how GetMapSprint (referred to as "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you use our website. We take your privacy seriously. This document outlines our practices clearly, so you understand what happens with your data.

1. Information We Collect

When you interact with GetMapSprint, we collect different types of information. This helps us provide our services and improve your experience on https://getmapsprint.com. We collect information in two main ways: directly from you and automatically as you use the site.

1.1. Information You Provide to Us

We collect personal information you voluntarily give us. This happens when you fill out forms, sign up for services, or communicate with us directly. For example, if you send us an email at hello@getmapsprint.com, you're providing us with your email address and any other details you include in your message. This means we'll have your name, email, and the content of your inquiry. When you create a business profile, we also collect your business name, city, top 3 services, and any Google Business Profile details you choose to provide.

  • Contact Information: This includes your name, email address, and any other contact details you provide when you reach out to us.
  • Business Information: This includes your business name, city, top 3 services, and Google Business Profile details (such as profile URL or business category) that you provide when setting up or using the Service.
  • Communications: Records of your correspondence with us, such as emails or messages sent through our website.
  • User Content: Any information you submit or post on our website, including Google Business Profile posts, business descriptions, and service content.

1.2. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit https://getmapsprint.com, certain information is collected automatically. This data helps us understand how people use our site, what's popular, and where we can make improvements. We don't typically link this information back to you personally, but it's important for site functionality and analytics.

  • Log Data: Our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit our website. This log data may include your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and settings, the date and time of your request, and how you interacted with the site.
  • Usage Data: We collect information about how you use our website, such as the pages you visit, the time spent on those pages, and other statistics. This helps us see which parts of GetMapSprint are most useful.
  • Device Information: We may collect information about the device you're using, including the type of device, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for various purposes, all aimed at operating, maintaining, and improving GetMapSprint. Here is what that means:

  • To Provide and Maintain Our Website: We use your information to operate and deliver the services available on https://getmapsprint.com.
  • To Improve and Personalize Your Experience: Understanding how you use the site helps us make it better. We might use usage data to tailor content or features.

3. How We Share Your Information

We don't sell your personal information to third parties. We do, however, share information in certain limited circumstances. This is typically to help us run our website or comply with legal requirements. But here is the thing: we only share what's necessary.

  • Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party vendors, consultants, and other service providers who perform services on our behalf. This could include website hosting, data analysis, email delivery, and customer service. These parties are contractually obligated to keep your information confidential and use it only for the purposes we specify.
  • Third-Party Integrations: We share limited data with the following third-party services to operate GetMapSprint:

    • Google Business Profile API — for publishing posts to your Google Business Profile when you choose to approve and publish content.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (a) comply with a legal obligation, (b) protect and defend the rights or property of GetMapSprint, (c) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the website or the public, or (d) protect against legal liability.
  • Business Transfers: If GetMapSprint is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as a business asset. We will provide notice before your personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.
  • With Your Consent: We may share your information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Like most websites, https://getmapsprint.com uses "cookies" and similar tracking technologies. Cookies are small data files placed on your device. They help us remember you, understand your preferences, and improve your browsing experience. And that matters because they make the site work better for you.

  • Essential Cookies: These cookies are strictly necessary to provide you with services available through our website and to use some of its features, such as accessing secure areas.
  • Analytics Cookies: These cookies help us understand how our website is being used, how effective our marketing campaigns are, or how we can customize our website for you. They collect information about your browsing habits to help us improve our site.

You have control over cookies. Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies. However, if you disable cookies, some features of GetMapSprint may not function properly.

5. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

You have certain rights regarding the personal information we hold about you. We want you to be able to control your data. So if you use this site, here's what you can do:

5.1. Accessing and Updating Your Information

If you've provided us with personal information, you may have the right to access, update, or correct it. Please contact us at hello@getmapsprint.com to make such requests.

5.2. Opting Out of Communications

If we send you promotional emails, you can opt out of receiving them by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in those emails. Even if you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional communications, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.

5.3. Cookie Preferences

As mentioned, you can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings. You can choose to accept or reject cookies, or be notified when a cookie is being sent.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. We use industry-standard practices. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

GetMapSprint is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@getmapsprint.com. 10. Do Not Track Disclosure

Some web browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. This signal is a preference you can set in your browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked. Currently, there is no universally accepted standard for how companies should respond to DNT signals. Therefore, GetMapSprint does not currently respond to DNT signals. We continue to monitor developments in this area and may update our practices if a standard is established.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post the new Privacy Policy on this page and update the "Last Updated" date at the top. GetMapSprint is currently in beta. During the beta period, we may collect additional usage data and feedback to improve the Service. Beta features may be experimental, and data handling practices may evolve as the product matures. We take reasonable steps to protect your information during beta testing, but you should avoid submitting sensitive personal information or confidential business data that you are not comfortable sharing.

14. Google API Limited Use Disclosure

GetMapSprint's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only request the access scopes strictly necessary to provide our core service (reading business profile data to generate suggestions, and posting only upon explicit user approval). We do not use Google API data for advertising, marketing, or any purpose outside of providing the GetMapSprint service.
